Job Description: Data Quality Specialist

As a Data Quality Specialist at Talan, you will play a crucial role in enhancing data integrity across all R&D departments. Your responsibilities will involve analyzing data quality, developing improvement plans, and ensuring adherence to data governance protocols, contributing to the reliability, completeness, and consistency of our data systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data creators, stewards, and consumers to ensure that our data meets high standards of quality, timeliness, and compliance.
• Support regional data initiatives for standardization, cleansing, and migration activities.
• Develop and maintain data quality policies and procedures, inclusive of data profiling and cleansing methodologies.
• Work closely with stakeholders to implement data governance policies and manage tools for tracking and sustaining data quality and compliance.
• Analyze and apply business rules to data profiles, ensuring alignment with user requirements and data standards.

Required Qualifications

• Proven expertise in applying data quality principles to maintain high-quality data assets.
• Proficient with data management platforms, including query and scripting languages.
• Skilled in identifying, analyzing, and resolving data quality issues and performing root cause analysis.
