Job Description

Are you passionate about data and eager to work with data quality in a business-driven environment? We are seeking Data Quality Experts/Information Stewards to help us become data-driven in all our operations!

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and document data and data flows, ensuring extensive knowledge of processes and personal data involved.
  • Optimize data use and tracking while ensuring data security controls are effective by working closely with information asset and business process owners, system owners, and security coordinators.
  • Define permissible information use to make it current and accessible for authorized users.
  • Ensure data lifecycle management—accurate, complete, and reliable data from creation to disposal.
  • Participate in asset classification workshops to provide insights on data flows, confidentiality, integrity, and availability within systems.
  • Consult on security and privacy control gap assessments to ensure the implementation of relevant controls like backups and encryption.
  • Maintain metadata to facilitate the finding and reuse of information.
  • Enhance data understanding among data owners, process managers, and stakeholders, mapping personal data against processes and applicable rules.
  • Implement safeguards to secure personal data processing.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in computer data science or related fields.
  • Good knowledge of information and data management systems and tools.
  • Passion for data and processes, proficient in using digital tools to automate workflows.
  • Strong advisory and educational capabilities regarding data knowledge, retention, processing, and quality enhancement methods.
  • Excellent command of English and Swedish or Finnish, both written and verbal.
  • Result-oriented, proactive, and capable of independent work.
  • Effective collaboration with colleagues across different locations and organizational units.
  • Analytical ability and strong communication skills.
