About the Role

If you are passionate about corporate sustainability and possess expertise in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) data, we have an exciting opportunity for you! As a Data Quality Specialist in our ESG division, you will play a critical role in managing one of the world’s most complete datasets on corporate sustainability, ensuring accuracy and integrity in the data we deliver to our clients.

The Team

Our ESG team at S&P Global is at the forefront of providing essential ESG data to investors, corporates, and other stakeholders. We specialize in gathering extensive ESG data from diverse company and governmental sources which are used across various divisions and products of S&P Global.

Responsibilities & Impact

Your tasks will include:

• Handling client queries related to Environmental data.
• Conducting root cause analysis and recommending preventative actions.
• Ensuring the validation of data from various sources such as CSR and Environmental reports, using CSA guidance effectively.
• Meeting individual and team targets with a focus on quality and efficiency.
• Coordinating with stakeholders for content development and improvement.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in ESG or corporate sustainability.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in client services within a similar setting will be an added advantage.
