About the Role: Data Quality Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Quality Specialist to support our Data Quality Management Lead within the Data Office. This global role involves collaborating with multiple stakeholders to enhance our data's quality, crucial for enabling our business operations. You will work closely with Data Governance, Master Data, Information Management teams, third-party service providers, and business stakeholders to ensure consistent and effective Data Quality Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct data profiling and analyze outcomes to share with key stakeholders.
• Develop and propose data quality rules, working with Data Owners or Data Stewards for approval.
• Manage production/BAU Data Quality reports in collaboration with third-party service providers, addressing issues and implementing minor changes as needed.
• Ensure the Information Catalogue accurately reflects current Data Quality rules.
• Oversee third-party service provider resources in creating and maintaining Data Quality reports.
• Support the Data Quality Management Lead in deploying the DQ framework and communicate best practices to involved parties.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Over 7 years of experience in data quality management, within large organizations, involving tasks like data profiling, data analysis, and quality reporting.
• Proficient in analyzing data profiling results to define and suggest DQ rules.
• Able to resolve data quality report issues and implement minor changes, working closely with third-party service providers.
• Effective at communicating with non-technical users.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of PowerBI and SQL is advantageous.
• Experience with Data Quality tools, especially Ataccama, Microsoft Azure, and Databricks.
• Background in working with third-party service providers.
