Position Summary:

Title: Data Quality Technician
Department: Quality
Location: Vancouver, B.C.
Contract: Full-time, 1-year
Reports to: Director of Technical Services

Job Purpose:

As a Data Quality Technician, you will be integral to our Quality team, handling data administration for the Upstream Minerals (UM) Quality program across our global network. Your role is crucial in maintaining and enhancing our quality standards.

Main Responsibilities:

• Maintain quality control charts and manage laboratory comparisons.
• Generate detailed reports on QA and QC activities for the UM management team.
• Support in managing data for reference tests and method validation.
• Undertake administrative responsibilities within the quality management system.
• Participate in external audits and maintain compliance with relevant standards and policies.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Diploma or equivalent in Science/Math preferred.
• Experience in laboratory settings and strong statistical analysis skills.
• Proficient in SQL database, Power BI, and Tableau.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Compensation and Benefits:

Bureau Veritas is committed to fair and competitive pay. The salary range for this role is between $55,000 to $60,000 annually, dependent on location, skills, and experience.
