Exciting Opportunity: Senior Data Science Analyst at KBR

KBR is actively seeking a highly motivated Senior Data Science Analyst to join our innovative team. This role involves applying advanced data science principles and techniques to assist our cost analysis team in effectively managing and analyzing datasets, thereby providing critical insights for customer success.

Required Qualifications:

• 9-14 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree or 11-16 years with a Bachelor's degree
• 5 years of experience in the application of data science principles
• Knowledge of statistical and operations research methods and tools
• Proficiency in R, Python, Tableau, and other statistical and mathematical software
• Demonstrated skills in functional analysis of organizations, mission effectiveness, or business processes
• Ability to present complex issues in written and graphical forms
• Experience working in the DoD/IC

Desired Qualifications:

• Excellent communication, quantitative, research, and analytical skills
• Experience in cost analysis/cost estimating, preferably in DoD acquisition programs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project) and cost estimating tools (e.g., ACEIT, Crystal Ball)
• Experience in life cycle cost estimate development and documentation
• Developing cost estimating methodologies, relationships, and cost model development
• Knowledge of cost databases, including data collection, validation, and normalization techniques
• Skills in risk and uncertainty analysis
• Experience in business case, economic analysis, net present value, and cost benefit analysis
• Ability to develop and analyze schedules
• Proficiency in Earned Value Management (EVM) tools and techniques
• Possess an active TS/SCI clearance with a CI Poly preferred
