Job Description

To support its development, Sia Partners is recruiting data scientist consultants.

They will have the mission to take charge, in synergy with our different practices, of the works and missions requiring the implementation of complex models to support our clients in their issues related to:

• Machine learning and statistics: development of explanatory and predictive decision support models (supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms, econometrics, forecasting, quantitative diagnosis, ...)
• Operational research: assistance in the design and implementation of optimization solutions under constraints and simulation models
• Big Data: algorithmic knowledge for the processing of large volume of data and unstructured

As part of the firm's internal activities, your participation revolves around the following axes:

• The development or reinforcement of our offers through training, work groups, dissemination of internal and external support...
• The publication policy (sectoral blogs, studies, press releases...)
• Business development by contributing to the definition of needs and participating in sales actions.

Qualifications

You have a degree in Engineering School or a high-level training in the field of information processing, statistical engineering and econometrics and you ideally have a first experience in Big Data or Data Science (internship or 1st job)

You have an excellent level in statistics and quantitative analysis (theoretical and practical knowledge, intuition, ability to understand models and apply them)

You are proficient in R programming (or equivalent: SAS, Matlab…) and have solid foundations in script languages (Python, Perl, JS, bash) or compiled (C++, Java) and/or have experience in UNIX/LINUX environments

You wish to get involved and quickly take on responsibilities on high added value missions within a dynamic structure.

You have a capacity to work in a team, an open mind, a sense of analysis and you wish to join a motivating professional environment where you will share our values ​​such as excellence, entrepreneurship, innovation, culture sharing, kindness, work-life balance.

Proficiency in French and English is essential.
