About the Role: Data Science Consultant

As a Data Science Consultant based in our Taipei headquarters, you'll play a pivotal role within our Professional Service team, delivering cutting-edge data applications and AI solutions across various industries. This role merges the dynamism of a startup with the robust resources of an established tech leader, creating a unique environment for professional growth and innovation.

Our team is dedicated to achieving two primary goals:

• Delivering bespoke end-to-end solutions utilizing state-of-the-art Machine Learning algorithms to address specific industry challenges.
• Transforming successful ML applications into core product offerings, extending Appier’s capabilities and market reach.

We empower our clients to turn big ideas into machine learning-driven innovations in sectors such as FinTech, Retail, E-Commerce, and E-Gaming, enhancing areas including digital marketing, analytics, and customer intelligence. Our solutions leverage advanced machine learning techniques including NLP, computer vision, and deep neural networks to revolutionize decision-making and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of Machine Learning projects as a Project Manager – from inception and planning through execution and reporting.
• As a Delivery Manager, steer a multidisciplinary project team to implement real AI applications, covering all phases from design to continuous optimization.
• Engage directly with clients as an Account Owner, establishing strong relationships, delivering high-value solutions, and identifying new opportunities.
• Enable knowledge sharing and methodological training as an Enabler to support Appier’s global business scaling efforts.
• Collaborate with the Sales Enablement team to develop and refine AI strategies that align with business objectives.

About You: Ideal Candidate Profile

Your background includes:

• 1-3+ years of experience in project management or consulting, preferably within technology or AI-centric industries.
• Proven ability to manage and deliver complex projects, particularly involving machine learning and data analytics.
• Proficiency in presenting complex data visually and verbally to ensure understanding across all stakeholder groups.
• Experience developing predictive models and implementing machine learning algorithms.
• Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of statistical and data mining techniques.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a collaborative team-player mindset.
• Fluent in English with excellent organizational, writing, and interpersonal communication skills.
