Role Summary: Data Scientist, Decisions - Airports

As a Data Scientist on Lyft's Airport team, your expertise will directly influence the rider and driver experiences by optimizing interactions and operational efficiencies at airports. Utilizing robust analytics and creative problem-solving, you will enhance product offerings and improve market growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize extensive data analysis to drive innovation and strategic decision-making across airport operations.
• Collaborate with teams across engineering, product, operations, and design to develop tailored product enhancements.
• Design and implement statistical models, leveraging machine learning and optimization techniques.
• Create and execute controlled online experiments to assess the impact of new features and make informed launch decisions.
• Develop and monitor key metrics to evaluate the health and success of our products and services.

Preferred Qualifications

• A degree in Statistics, Economics, Applied Math, Operations Research, Engineering or a comparable quantitative field. Advanced degrees are highly preferred.
• At least three years of professional experience in Data Science, Analytics, or Management Consulting.
• Comprehensive experience with data handling, including querying, aggregation, analysis, and visualization.
• Expertise in SQL and Python is essential.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively across various teams in a dynamic environment.
