As a Microsoft Data Scientist Intern, you will utilize machine learning, statistical analysis, and various algorithms to create impactful business solutions and improve customer experiences across our products and services. This role provides an opportunity through the Microsoft Aspire Experience—a two-year program designed to expand your skills and propel your career forward in various dynamic sectors within Microsoft.

Internship Responsibilities:

• Formulate solutions to problems using algorithms and data analysis.
• Enhance product functionality from a consumer's point of view.
• Explore data to identify new challenges and opportunities.
• Validate and interpret analysis results, and iterate to enhance outcomes.
• Generate insightful, actionable insights for product and service enhancements that affect millions of customers.
• Collaborate and communicate findings with peers and stakeholders to influence strategic decisions.

Key Dates and Program Features:

Who Should Apply?

Required Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with at least one additional semester of school remaining after the internship.
• Fluency in English and full work authorization in Serbia.
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience or coursework with large data systems like SQL, Hadoop.
• Programming proficiency in Python, Java, C#, or other languages.
• Experience or coursework in data analysis and using statistical tools such as Excel, R, MATLAB, AMPL, or SAS.
