We are seeking an experienced Data Analytics Manager to join our P&L Management team within the Rideshare Central Management organization.

About the Role

As a Data Analytics Manager, you will oversee the profit and loss for Lyft’s core Rideshare business. Collaborating closely with Data Scientists and Analysts, you will shape Lyft’s future investment strategies. Data and analytics drive Lyft’s products and decision-making, and as part of the Central Market Management team, you will thrive in a dynamic setting that embraces fast-paced innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of talented Data Analysts.
  • Mentor and guide your team in professional and technical development.
  • Provide continuous feedback, address performance, and recognize individual strengths.
  • Create plans prioritizing technical and resource challenges.
  • Collaborate with investment teams to recommend quarterly investment strategies.
  • Utilize analytics and data science to solve business problems.
  • Partner with Data Scientists and Engineers to enhance models and processes.
  • Present findings, recommendations, and results to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Experience Required

  • Degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, economics, applied math, operations research, or engineering (advanced degrees preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in strategic data science/analytics roles in technology companies, management consulting, investment firms, or high-growth startups.
  • Experience leading high visibility projects and influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Skilled in strategic investment and project prioritization.
  • Strong ability to manage, influence, negotiate, and inspire in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools, along with Spreadsheet, SQL, and Python.
  • Strong financial knowledge and understanding of profit and loss.

Location: This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule. Team members are expected to work in the office three days per week (Mondays, Thursdays, and a team-specific third day). Additionally, hybrid roles offer flexibility to work remotely for up to four weeks per year.

Compensation: The expected base pay range for this position in San Francisco is $172,000 - $215,000. Salary depends on various factors, including qualifications, experience, and location. Additional equity offerings, bonuses, and benefits are not included in the base pay range. Your recruiter will provide more information regarding salary specifics during the hiring process.
