Position: Data Scientist - Optimization

Key Responsibilities:

- Refactor Distribution Optimization algorithms written in Python using Object-Oriented Programming.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to identify business challenges, define solution requirements, and build statistical, ML, or predictive models, refining them for accuracy.
- Compile results from various what-if scenarios using client’s data science platforms; support the client’s Decision Science team in delivering simulation solutions to business teams.
- Ensure deployed models deliver the anticipated business value.
- Work cohesively with a global team to resolve computational problems efficiently.
- Document models, outlining enhancements, bug fixes, and other modifications.

Requirements:

- 5-10 years of experience in optimization with extensive knowledge in Object-Oriented Programming using Python.
- Expertise in heuristic optimization and other advanced optimization techniques.
- Proven ability in maintaining and supporting optimization models developed by other data scientists.
- Experience in creating delta analysis for various what-if scenarios.
- Strong communication skills to engage with client stakeholders, understand business problems, and develop analytical solutions.
- Capability to work effectively with global teams.
- Graduate degree in Operational Research, Data Science, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
