Opportunity Overview:

As a Data Scientist in our Product team, you have the chance to handle complex data sets and influence product design and development using your analytical prowess. Your work will directly contribute to the evolution of cutting-edge social technology platforms that revolutionize how we connect and interact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, organize, interpret, and summarize statistical data to support product development.
• Apply advanced quantitative analysis, data mining techniques, and data presentation strategies.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to identify trends, solve problems, and capitalize on opportunities.
• Influence and contribute to product strategy and launches across various domains, such as product operations and data infrastructure.

Minimum Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• At least three years of professional experience in a related job or computer-related occupation.
• Experience with quantitative analysis, data mining, SQL, Python, A/B testing, and large-scale data processing in distributed systems.
• Expertise in at least one of the following analytical techniques: clustering, regression, pattern recognition, or descriptive and inferential statistics.

What We Offer:

At Meta, we ensure a competitive compensation package for our team members. For this position, the salary ranges from $173,218 to $196,900 per year, plus potential bonuses, equity, and comprehensive benefits. Your specific compensation package will be based on your skills, qualifications, and experience.
