Role Overview

This position is based in the vibrant city of Barcelona, Spain, where Smadex headquarters boasts modern facilities, a rooftop terrace, and a collaborative work environment. As a Data Scientist, you will dive deep into massive datasets that reflect the behavior of millions of mobile users worldwide to drive strategic decisions and boost platform performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large data sets to address strategic company questions.
• Generate and report insights on product performance to influence revenue-positive decisions.
• Develop automated dashboards and processes to embed data-driven decision-making across the company.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with both business and technical teams to enhance product outcomes.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 2 years experience in a Data Analyst or Data Scientist role.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Business.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Power Pivot & Power Query).
• Experience with SQL for exploratory data analysis.
• Knowledge of A/B testing principles.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.

Experience with Python/R, Superset, and PowerBI, as well as familiarity with the ad-tech industry, are considered beneficial.
