Job Title: Data Scientist

Role Overview:

Otis seeks a dynamic Data Scientist to explore various operational, product, and customer data sources. As a key member of our team, you will lead data analytics studies and application development. You will analyze operational data, passenger traffic, equipment sensor data, and market data to define strategies, improve performance, uncover trends, and identify market growth opportunities.

Experience Required:

• Total Years of Experience: 4-9 Years
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Machine Learning
• Certification in data science or data analytics is preferred
• Experience with cloud platforms
• Proficiency in developing tools integrated with business processes and legacy databases
• Experience in developing data analytics and visualization applications with legacy systems
• Expertise in addressing data quality issues
• Adept at developing tools and analyses for non-Machine Learning experts

Basic Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of current Machine Learning methodologies and Data Analytics
• Hands-on experience with Machine Learning models to address real-world problems
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python and SQL
• Proficiency with data warehousing, querying tools, and statistical programming languages
• Ability to translate complex technical analyses into understandable, actionable insights
• Excellent team, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify the appropriate analytics method for business problems
• Develop and deliver data analytics applications for various end-users
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to gather insights and trends
• Create predictive and prescriptive analytics tools for decision-makers
• Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate analytics solutions within business processes
• Gather and document requirements from internal customers
• Manage and resolve data quality issues
