We are set to expand our Pricing team and a distinctive opportunity has opened up for a Data Scientist at Prima UK. We are targeting growth, and are keen to welcome dedicated data scientists on board as we broaden our efforts across the enterprise.

The appointed candidate will report to the Head of Pricing and will work alongside the organization to provide solutions that cater to our business necessities and foster best practices. We are seeking a "problem solver" who is enthusiastic about growth and career advancement.

Requirements

You are our ideal candidate if you fulfill the following requirements:

• Quantitative background (mathematics, physics, engineering) from a leading university
• Proactive and "SME" mentality- staying ahead by exploring new concepts and maintaining relevancy in the field of Data Science
• Strong communicative ability with the skill to explain technical terms in a comprehensible manner
• Basic comprehension of Python and SQL

Additionally, the following are desirable:

• Experience of using Python in a professional setting

• Experience in insurance pricing or analytics
• Tertiary level or doctoral education
• Actively involved in Data Scientist gatherings or communities
