We are actively seeking a driven, passionate Data Scientist focused on Decisions within the Rider & Safety team. Utilize comprehensive data analysis and a rigorous analytical mindset to revolutionize our rider app and drive strategic business decisions prioritizing customer satisfaction. Embark on projects involving identifying scopes, forming priorities, proposing technical solutions, designing experiments, and evaluating their impact—all while closely collaborating with stakeholders across product, design, engineering, business, and operations divisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Employ data and analytical techniques to pinpoint opportunities for growth and enhanced efficiency.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, marketers, designers, and operators to transform data insights into actionable decisions and initiatives.
• Design, execute, and analyze the impact of online experiments, influencing crucial launch decisions and strategies.
• Develop frameworks for continuous monitoring of business and product performance.
• Establish and manage performance metrics to assess the health of our products and evaluate both rider and driver experiences.

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, economics, applied math, operations research, or engineering (advanced degrees preferred) or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 3 years of industry experience in data science or an analytical role.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with large datasets.
• Familiarity with programming, particularly using data science and visualization libraries in Python or R.
• Proven expertise in online experimentation and statistical analysis.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
