About the Role

As a Data Scientist at Tiger Analytics, you'll leverage your AI expertise through machine learning, data mining, and information retrieval. You'll be pivotal in designing, prototyping, and building next-generation advanced analytics engines and services. Collaboration is key; you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and business partners to define technical problems and test hypotheses. Your analytical models will imitate business decisions and be integrated into analytical data products and tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business partners to develop innovative solutions using cutting-edge techniques and tools.
• Experiment, evaluate, and create generative AI products for tasks such as data extraction and document summarization.
• Utilize AI techniques (e.g., time series, machine learning, RNN) to analyze sensor data and uncover meaningful patterns and insights.
• Evaluate and refine models to enhance performance continually.
• Work with scientists, data engineers, machine learning operations engineers, prompt engineers, and product owners to develop IoT products.
• Engineer features by combining disparate internal and external data sources using your business acumen.
• Share your passion for Data Science within the enterprise community; establish processes, frameworks, tools, methods, and standards.
• Collaborate, coach, and learn with a growing team of experienced Data Scientists.
• Stay updated with external ideas through conferences and community engagements.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in a quantitative field.
• Expertise in Python, including managing dependencies, virtual environments, and version control in git.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS.
• Proficiency with sequential algorithms (e.g., LSTM, RNN, transformer).
• Experience evaluating and controlling the ethical implications of AI (e.g., red-teaming).
• Strong background in supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and transfer learning.
• Experience with NLP and CV.
• Demonstrated ability in developing models from inception to deployment.
