Key Responsibilities

Your role as a Data Scientist at Qualtrics involves:

• Improved Data Science Craft: Use data science methods and tools to answer client business questions. Brainstorm and select the best methods to solve problems.
• Story-telling with Insights: Deliver compelling and actionable presentations backed by predictive, explanatory, and/or descriptive analyses.
• Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and internal team members.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to ongoing enhancements in data science methods, tools, visualizations, and ways of working.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with leaders across various functions to develop and execute multidisciplinary solutions that improve the customer experience.

Key Activities

In this role, your main tasks will include:

• Answering client business questions using data science methods and tools.
• Delivering actionable presentations backed by predictive and/or descriptive analyses.
• Building relationships with key clients and internal counterparts.
• Contributing to continuous improvements in data science methods, tools, and visualizations.
• Supporting large sales efforts by demonstrating the value of Qualtrics’ advisory services.
• Developing new service packages that meet emerging customer needs.
• Collaborating with cross-functional leaders to improve customer experience.
• Providing real-world insights that shape the product roadmap.

Qualifications

We are looking for the following qualifications on your resume:

Technical Skills:

• Graduate degree in a technical field such as statistics, data science, or engineering.
• Strong understanding of data science theory and practice, including predictive and explanatory statistics.
• 2+ years of experience delivering data-driven insights to stakeholders.
• Proficient coding skills in R.
• Experience with Big Data focused on human-centered business problems.
• Solid understanding of rigorous research methodology, including survey and experimental design.

Soft Skills:

• 2+ years of experience as a client-facing data scientist or analytical consultant.
• Proven success in working with clients.
