Job Description

As a Data Scientist at Experian Health, you will be immersed in a dynamic role involving:

• Analysis, processing, and documentation of large data sets.
• Development of machine learning, natural language understanding, and processing techniques.
• Creation of data visualizations to communicate insights broadly.
• Design and implementation of efficient data structures for storage and manipulation.
• Development of tools for data processing and retrieval.
• Quantification of data value through data-driven models.
• Leading R&D projects in machine learning and data analytics.
• Application and innovation of algorithms to solve complex business challenges.
• Validation of model performance and conducting ROI/benefit analysis.
• Documentation and presentation of models and their effectiveness.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

• A degree in Machine Learning, Data Science, AI, or a related quantitative field.
• 2-5 years of experience in data science, data visualization, or predictive modeling.
• Demonstrated leadership in project execution from conception to completion.
• Strong skills in Python, R, Java, C++, or C, and proficiency in SQL and ETL.
• Experience with machine learning tools such as Keras, TensorFlow, and scikit-learn.
• Expertise in statistical methods and experience with large and complex data structures.

Additional experiences with Hadoop, visualization tools like Tableau, and NLP technologies are considered a plus.
