The position offers a flexible working arrangement, based at our Irvine, California, Corporate Headquarters, with the option to work remotely for part of the week.
INGRAM MICRO INSIGHTS & RECOMMENDATION PRACTICE
Ingram Micro's Insights & Recommendation (InR) practice is a profitable strategic department that provides IT channel stakeholders with the necessary insights and industry knowledge to boost business, expand reach, and refine their sales and marketing efforts. We develop high-margin offerings for Ingram’s Global Partners and internal Business Units across the organization including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance.
We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist/Statistician/Econometrician to develop Supply and Demand side forecasts for Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain applications. You will work collaboratively with a diverse team of highly skilled Ph.D.s, M.A.s, and industry experts. As part of your role, you will build and refine forecasting models and deploy them into production environments. You will work with large granular data sets and communicate forecasts to key internal stakeholders.
The successful applicant will have:
- Ph.D. in Economics/Econometrics or related technical field
- 5+ years of quantitative experience
- Expert knowledge in forecast and time series models
- Experience with Python, SQL, and other tools
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
The typical base pay range for this role in Irvine, California is between $94,100 - $160,000 per year. This range is a reflection of the potential pay across all roles and may vary depending on the candidate’s primary work location and experience among other factors.
At Ingram Micro, eligible roles receive additional rewards including merit increases, annual bonuses or sales incentives, and long-term incentives based on individual performance.
