About the Role

You will join the central Pricing & Data Office, a team that actively collaborates with the business to discover sustainable and effective solutions. At our core, we prioritize business connection, expertise, responsibility, results, and fun. You'll work alongside dedicated specialists to achieve these goals.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary objective is to devise data science solutions for operational teams like ‘Acceptance and Claims’, in partnership with your colleagues. You will:

• Translate business needs into AI solutions and present them effectively.
• Design and implement top-tier data science solutions using our AI toolkit.
• Engage in agile projects that may span multiple sprints.
• Deploy AI solutions into production to add value to our company's future.
• Explore and apply the latest technologies, such as AI as a service and LLMs like Cognitive Services and OpenAI.
• Contribute to company innovation on our monthly innovation days.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• A university degree with a Master's in Computer Science, Econometrics, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.
• Experience in developing ML applications in Python.
• Knowledge of the data science process, including data collection, cleaning, model evaluation, and implementation.
• Experience with API development is ideal.
• Familiarity with (Azure) CI/CD tools, Git, SQL, and Terraform (a plus).
• A passion for continuous self-development on the job.

You will work with a dynamic group of data scientists, supported by two engineers and a program manager who guides our work. Daily, we collaborate with business colleagues to optimize and innovate customer service, processes, and quality. As a member of the data science guild, you'll join about 40 data scientists to exchange knowledge and grow your career, thereby maximizing the impact of our AI solutions.
