At Whatnot, we are pushing boundaries in live auctions spanning diverse categories such as sports, fashion, video games, and streetwear. Our platform ensures a secure environment through rigorous seller vetting while fostering a community-centric approach. This balance creates a thriving space for buyers and sellers to share their passions.
Growth is our mantra. Recognized as the fastest-growing marketplace in the US over the last two years, we continue to expand. To fuel this growth, we are looking for forward-thinking problem solvers across various functional areas.
We seek an experienced Data Scientist to bolster our Go-To-Market (GTM) teams as they innovate across product categories and geographic markets. This key role involves collaboration with teams accountable for scaling Whatnot’s account management and marketing initiatives.
We value intellectually curious, highly motivated individuals eager to be foundational members of our Data team! Candidates will work closely with Category Expansion, Marketing, and Strategy & Operations teams to identify business goals and design scalable solutions.
For US-based applicants: $180,000 - $275,000/year + benefits + stock options.
The salary range reflects various levels applicable to the position. Final salary depends on experience, skills, and expertise. This range covers base salary only; it excludes benefits and stock options.
