Job Description

Experian is looking for a skilled Data Scientist to enhance our capabilities in delivering personalized financial solutions. This role involves mining complex data using robust analytical tools and building cutting-edge machine learning models to address key business challenges. Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine machine learning algorithms to tackle complex business inquiries using massive datasets.
• Enhance the performance of existing algorithms and identify new data sources to improve model inputs.
• Construct and oversee the data pipelines needed for scaling machine learning models.
• Eloquently communicate analytical results and insights to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in quantifiable fields like Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Science, etc., or equivalent professional expertise.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a quantitative role, ideally using cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Snowflake. E-commerce and digital marketing experience are highly desirable.
• Proficiency in statistical modeling techniques such as regression and support vector machines, with additional experience in deep learning frameworks being a plus.
• Familiarity with cluster-computing frameworks like Hadoop or Spark and fluency in analytical programming languages such as Python or R. SQL knowledge is essential.
• Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written.
