About the Role:

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a seasoned Data Scientist to become a key player within our innovative Moodle Research team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in LLM and ML-based AI projects, handling a diverse array of data to ensure optimal data quality and maximum AI performance.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Designing and scaling up AI-based products and services.
• Creating automated workflows for data exchange across various systems.
• Engaging in model training, fine-tuning, and RAG design.
• Benchmarking and monitoring of active products.
• Staying updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning.
• Collaborating with the team to deploy new AI-driven solutions internally and externally.

Who We Are Looking For:

The ideal candidate will bring:

• A robust background with 6-8 years in IT and at least 5 years of deep dive into Data Science.
• Strong programming skills including experience in Python, R, SQL, ensuring code is high-quality and modular.
• Proven ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
• Solid understanding of model training, fine-tuning, and RAG.
• A data-driven approach to decision making and research.
• Exceptional communication abilities, particularly with non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Design Thinking methodologies.
• A dedication to producing high-quality work.
