Job Opportunity: Data Scientist / Pricing Analyst (f/m/d)

Allianz Group Austria, situated next to the iconic Vienna Central Station, is seeking a skilled and ambitious Data Scientist / Pricing Analyst to enrich our team. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance stochastic forecasting models and technical rates using advanced algorithms, including machine learning and data mining.
• Optimize pricing strategies utilizing AI and machine learning, leveraging both internal and external data sources.
• Take end-to-end responsibility in cross-functional projects and actively participate in strategic initiatives.
• Support tariff and product development through strategic tariff development and actuarial analysis.
• Create and parameterize pricing tools in underwriting and prepare detailed actuarial analyses and dashboards.
• Collaborate and share insights with international pricing colleagues to stay ahead of industry trends.

Candidate Profile:

• Master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science, data science, or a similar field.
• Experience in building stochastic models and technical tariffs, or familiarity with big data methodologies preferred.
• Proficiency in various software such as Emblem, Radar, SAS, R, Python, and Java is desirable.
• Previous experience or knowledge in the insurance sector will be advantageous.
• Excellent German and English communication skills (C1 level).
• Strong independent working skills with a proactive approach to tackling new challenges.

Job Details:

Starting Immediately | 38.5 hours/week | Location: ICON Towers, Vienna | Gross annual salary: EUR 55,000 with potential for higher compensation based on qualifications.
