Future Responsibilities:

  • Developing stochastic forecasting models (risk, cancellation, conversion) and technical rates using cutting-edge algorithms (including Machine Learning, Data Mining)
  • Innovating current actuarial methods to solve insurance mathematics issues
  • Optimizing pricing using AI and Machine Learning with internal and external data sources
  • End-to-end responsibility in cross-functional projects and actively participating in strategic initiatives of the Allianz Group
  • Strategic rate development and actuarial support during product development, including development and parameterization of pricing tools in underwriting
  • Compiling results and presenting them
  • Collaborating with international pricing colleagues on the latest developments

Your Profile:

  • Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
  • Experience in developing stochastic prediction models and technical rates, or familiarity with Big Data methodologies (e.g., Machine Learning, Data Mining) and related software (e.g., Emblem, Radar, Radar Live, SAS, R, Python, Java)
  • Experience in the insurance sector is an advantage
  • Knowledge in related areas such as Reserving, Risk Management, Accounting, Controlling, Investment Management is beneficial
  • Independent working style with a willingness to tackle new subjects
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork-oriented
  • Confident and open demeanor with internal and external partners, including on an international scale
  • Fluency in German and English (C1 level)

Position Information:
Start Date: Immediately | Working Hours: 38.5 hours per week | Location: ICON Towers, directly at Vienna Central Station, 1100 Vienna
Annual gross salary: EUR 55,000, with willingness to overpay depending on qualifications
