About the Role:

Chapter's industry-leading, proprietary technology is designed to optimize retirees' health coverage and reduce costs. As a Data Scientist in our NYC office, you will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other teams. Your expertise will be pivotal in turning data into actionable insights and developing features that meet the unique needs of our users.

What You'll Do:

• Leverage data with product managers and engineers to create actionable insights and innovate product features.
• Utilize experimentation to support rapid, informed decision-making across teams.
• Develop and define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, creating frameworks to assess product performance.
• Influence product roadmap and future vision through active collaboration and impact analysis.
• Cultivate a data-driven culture at Chapter, mentoring team members and enhancing overall data proficiency.
• Continuously learn and apply cutting-edge technology, statistics, and analytical methods.

About You:

• Hold a degree in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, economics, applied math) or have relevant work experience.
• Skillful in SQL and programming, particularly with data science tools in Python or R.
• Possess outstanding collaboration and communication skills, with a track record of leading projects in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in strategic data science or analytics roles within tech-based sectors or a fast-growing startup.
