Key Job Responsibilities

As a Data Scientist at AWS, you will:

  • Collaborate with top AI/ML scientists and architects to design, develop, and evaluate innovative generative AI models.
  • Work directly with customers to refine and implement AI-driven solutions, facilitating deep dive sessions and guiding them through adoption processes.
  • Create resources like best practice guides, tutorials, and presentations tailored for various stakeholders.
  • Channel real-time feedback from customers back to our Product and Engineering teams to influence the future direction of our products.

Location and Qualifications

We are looking to hire candidates to work from locations including Austin, TX; Houston, TX; Portland, OR; San Diego, CA; San Francisco, CA; Santa Clara, CA; and Seattle, WA. Applicants should have:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience or Master's degree with 4+ years of experience.
  • Proficiency in data querying languages like SQL and scripting languages such as Python.
  • Background in areas such as data structures, numerical optimization, parallel computing, or machine learning.

Preferred candidates will have experience with neural deep learning methods and familiarity with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
