Data Scientist - Python (FTL-Hybrid) at SIXT

Key Responsibilities

Data Exploration and Preparation: Manage and refine large datasets from multiple sources to ensure optimal data quality and readiness for complex analyses.

Statistical Analysis and Modeling: Implement sophisticated statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to uncover patterns and trends. Develop and validate models to address business challenges and improve operational efficiency.

Model Development and Deployment: Create and deploy robust machine learning models, collaborating with software engineers to ensure integration into our business systems for enhanced efficiency and scalability.

Data Visualization: Utilize Python visualization tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Plotly to produce clear, impactful data presentations. Communicate analytical insights effectively to team members and stakeholders.

Continuous Learning and Improvement: Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in data science and machine learning. Continuously seek personal growth and development to foster innovation within the team.

Qualifications

Educational Background: Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Python with hands-on experience in data manipulation libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical thinker with proven capability to process complex data sets into actionable insights.

Experience: Solid background in statistical analysis, machine learning, and the use of various libraries such as SciPy, Statsmodels, and Scikit-learn. Knowledge in data visualization and experience in deploying machine learning models are highly advantageous.

Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills with proficiency in discussing technical details with non-technical stakeholders.
