Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions

1. Data Collection and Preprocessing

• Identify valuable data sources and automate data collection processes.
• Preprocess structured and unstructured data to ensure quality.

2. Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA)

• Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and correlations.
• Develop predictive models and machine-learning algorithms.

3. Model Development

• Work with various algorithms and solutions including:
  • Machine learning
  • Natural language processing
  • Generative AI
  • Large language models
  • ChatGPT and other chatbot tools

4. Data Visualization

• Create accurate data visualizations and interactive dashboards for stakeholders.

5. Problem Solving and Strategy

• Propose innovative solutions and strategies to tackle business challenges.
• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams.

6. Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
• Understanding of APIs and making HTTP requests.
• Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Qlik Sense).

7. Production and Maintenance of Existing Offerings

• Develop and maintain both existing and new machine learning and analytics offerings.
• Manage projects by liaising with clients and teams to ensure requirements and timelines are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Graduate degree in Data Science or another quantitative field is preferred.

Desired Skills (Advantageous)

• Experience with business intelligence tools such as Qlik Sense.
• Knowledge in IBM SPSS Modeler.
• Strong skills in SQL and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent mathematical skills (e.g., statistics, algebra).
