The Impact You Can Have

We are seeking a talented Analytics Engineer to join our Data Platform & Product team. In this role, you will contribute to making data-driven decisions that enhance our products, positioning SonarSource as the world-leading code analysis solution.

Key Responsibilities

As an Analytics Engineer, you will:

• Design and develop analytics domains based on business priorities following Data Mesh principles.
• Support functional domains in their data ownership journey.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analytics engineers, and data product owners to define and achieve data objectives.
• Manage DBT Cloud and data visualization tools, including Tableau.
• Continue the implementation of DBT Mesh.
• Oversee the data catalog, manage metadata additions, and ensure alignment with company needs.
• Ensure key metrics are accessible, properly defined, and verified.
• Develop the observability capabilities of our data platform.
• Explore product data proactively and offer insights to various stakeholders.
• Specify analytics needs based on business and technical requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.

Skills You Will Demonstrate

You will thrive in this role if you have:

• Solid experience in developing analytics components, understanding big data architecture essentials, data modeling, data exploration, SQL queries, dashboarding, and data lakes.
• A proactive attitude towards data exploration and maintaining a consistent data catalogue.
• Strong team-player qualities, with enthusiasm, organization skills, and the ability to share knowledge and feedback.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, and familiarity with SQL, Python (pandas, matplotlib), Git, and Jupyter.
