Your Role

We are looking for an experienced Energy Data Strategy & Advisory Director to spearhead our award-winning Data Practice in the Energy domain. In this role, you'll lead a multidisciplinary team to develop new business opportunities, deliver industry-leading data strategies for top-tier clients in the Energy and Financial Services sectors, and drive the growth of our data advisory and management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify business development opportunities and aid in client proposal formation.
  • Develop client relationships and direct sales initiatives with a strong commercial focus.
  • Shape data propositions to address Energy client challenges and deliver sustainable outcomes.
  • Enhance the market visibility of the UK Data Practice through networking and strong client relationships.
  • Foster a collaborative culture, driving talent development and mentoring junior team members.
  • Manage multiple projects, balancing client delivery with business growth.
  • Lead the deployment, implementation, and rollout of new data management tools and frameworks.

Your Skills and Experience

We value passion for data and a proven track record of driving data change to achieve business outcomes. To qualify, you should have:

  • 8+ years in data consulting, with at least 5 years in the Energy industry.
  • Experience advising C-suite executives on Energy data strategies.
  • A solid background partnering with financial institutions to develop and execute data strategies.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills at all organizational levels.
  • In-depth understanding of Data Strategy, Management, and Analytics principles, and familiarity with methodologies like DAMA DMBOK, DCAM, and CDMC.
  • Proven ability to shape and manage data programmes, from design to execution.
