Your Role

We are seeking an Insurance Data Strategy & Advisory Director to lead our award-winning Data Practice in the Insurance domain. As a respected authority in Insurance data, with a proven track record in building and managing a data advisory consulting business, you will join a growing team of multi-disciplinary data experts.

You will collaborate with this team to develop new business solutions and deliver leading data strategies for top-tier clients in the Insurance and Financial Services sector. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Driving the growth of our data management and data advisory capabilities.
• Identifying business development opportunities with new and existing clients.
• Developing client proposals and propositions.
• Creating a collaborative culture, empowering the team, and providing mentorship.
• Driving the commercial growth of our Data Practice in the Insurance domain.
• Client mapping, prospect identification, and pipeline development & management.

Your Key Objectives

• Research and identify business development opportunities with new and existing clients.
• Develop and direct sales opportunities and client relationships.
• Shape and market propositions to solve Insurance client data challenges.
• Enhance market awareness of the UK Data Practice.
• Contribute to innovation within your field, both internally and externally.
• Manage commercial growth targets alongside client delivery.
• Provide expert Insurance data advisory and lead mixed Capco/client teams.
• Enable Insurance digital transformation and data-driven decision-making.

Your Skills and Experience

Your passion for data and track record in driving data change will be critical in helping clients achieve their business outcomes. To qualify for this role, you will have:

• 8+ years of data consulting experience in senior management/director roles, with at least 5 years in the Insurance industry.
• Experience delivering deep Insurance data advisory at C-suite level.
• Extensive experience with financial institutions in shaping and operationalizing data strategies.
• Highly effective communication, rapport-building, and influencing skills.
• Deep understanding of Data Strategy, Management, and Analytics principles.
• Experience managing business and technical teams to deliver projects of varying sizes.
