Your Challenge

We are seeking an experienced Data Strategy Leader to spearhead data-driven decision-making and digital transformation in our banking organization. The ideal candidate has a robust background in banking and financial services and excels in developing and implementing data strategies that foster business growth, improve customer experience, and enhance risk management.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions that address business challenges and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to identify and prioritize data initiatives that drive business value.
  • Develop and maintain a data governance framework ensuring data quality, security, and compliance.
  • Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making and analytics adoption within the organization.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies, assessing their impact on the organization's data strategy.
  • Manage and mentor a team of data professionals, including data scientists, analysts, and engineers.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 8+ years of experience in data strategy or analytics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong background in banking and financial services, with expertise in areas such as risk management, customer analytics, or financial planning.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing data strategies that drive business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong technical skills with experience in data platforms, analytics tools, and data visualization technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Preferred qualifications include experience with cloud-based data platforms, familiarity with machine learning and AI techniques, certification in data science or analytics, and experience with agile project management methodologies.
