Data Strategy - Team Leader

The main task for the incumbent will be to work closely with the Billing Department and business units to comprehend the requirements related to new demand and create solutions to meet business needs. Secondary tasks essential to the role include support and development activities that see to it that demands from corporate initiatives are satisfied, such as Corporate Information Security and other corporate control processes. Solutions created to meet the business needs can result in the development of small independent capabilities or enhancements to current applications supported by the Billing Department. The candidate must have a solid database background, Hands-on expertise with SQL, ETL, Data Analysis, and mastery of any one Programming Language Responsibilities: Evaluate and challenge business processes, unearth opportunities for improvement, and create and implement solutions. Document and communicate ideas and findings. Collect critical information from meetings and produce useful analysis, actionable events, and output. Prioritize tasks based on business needs and requirements. Monitor deliverables and ensure tasks and projects are completed on time. Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in Technology or finance or experience working in the financial sector. Strong analytical and abstract thinking skills. Experience in database analysis and design, Proficiency in any Relational Database (e.g. SQL SERVER or ORACLE etc.) Familiarity with any ETL Tool (e.g. SSIS or Informatica etc.) Knowledge of any Programming Language (e.g. Python, C# or Java) Competency in any Reporting Tool (e.g. SSRS or Crystal Report or Power BI or SPOTFIRE etc.) Experience in Production Support (Change Management or Incident Management or Application Support) Experience with GitHub, Artifactory, and BCP or DR Activity Support is a plus Good Communication Skills A record of consistently fulfilling commitments. Outstanding planning, organizational, and time management skills. A history of leading and support of successful projects.
