Database Engineer 3 (Data Management)

The Database Engineer will be responsible for offering technical expertise in areas such as database design, development, execution, information storage and retrieval, as well as data movement and analysis. The job will involve developing or maintaining database structures that fit into the system's overall architecture. They will be tasked with creating new workflows to replace existing processes as required, and fulfilling requests for breaks/fixes or updates. Spearheading development of database structures, database parsing software, and database loading software will also be a part of their duty. They will support the development and testing of various Python based ReST endpoints, microservices, and data model management capabilities. These will utilize Django and Flask frameworks for communication with data models like mariaDB, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL. This will allow the sending of requested data in JSON format to UI front ends.
