Join Our Team as a Database Engineer at Polar Semiconductor LLC

We are seeking a skilled Database Engineer to join our IT Team at Polar Semiconductor LLC. This role is crucial for the development, implementation, and maintenance of our database systems, specifically focusing on our manufacturing databases.

Key Responsibilities:

The Database Engineer will:

• Design and implement physical and logical data models, collaborating closely with developers to enhance application features.
• Develop complex SQL queries to generate meaningful reports for end users.
• Create and maintain stored procedures, functions, views, tables, and triggers using SQL and T-SQL.
• Assess and optimize database structures by analyzing operations and programming.
• Conduct regular system tests, troubleshoot issues, and integrate new features to enhance system performance.
• Recommend and implement improvements to boost the efficiency and reliability of database systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant experience may compensate for educational preference.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT, with at least five years in a management role.
• Strong background in Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle database administration.
• Experience in data modeling and SQL/TSQL, with an ability to write high-performance, maintainable code.
• Familiarity with SQL Server Reporting Services and Power BI.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.

Position Details:

This is a hybrid role requiring three days onsite and two days remote work per week.
