Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Databricks Solutions Architect, you will:

• Lead complex data & analytics projects on the Databricks platform, offering expert advice to clients ranging from data specialists and analysts to C-level executives.
• Represent Aimpoint Digital externally as a Databricks SME and internally support our network of technical analytics consultants.
• Drive growth in our partnership with Databricks across the US, serving as the technical spearhead.
• Produce and share compelling content (blogs, webinars, whitepapers, presentations) highlighting new Databricks features and industry best practices.
• Design and demonstrate Databricks tools and solutions to prospective clients, enhancing product understanding and application.
• Support sales and channel activities by providing expert architectural advice for client projects.
• Play a pivotal role in the development and integration of Aimpoint products within the Databricks ecosystem.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills tailor-made for a technical audience.
• Proficiency with Databricks, including an understanding of workflows, DLT pipelines, and Unity Catalog.
• Minimum three years’ experience with data warehouses and query languages.
• At least two years’ hands-on experience creating data pipelines using tools like PySpark, Scala, and Spark SQL.
• A foundation in data modeling techniques and familiarity with software engineering or DevOps principles.
• Knowledge of machine learning and generative AI within Databricks is a plus.
• Any Databricks certifications will be favorably considered.
• Openness to travel as required.
