Job Description: Decision Scientist

As a Decision Scientist at Tesco Bengaluru, you will:

• Enable data-driven decision making by developing advanced analytics solutions integrating mathematics, technology, and business insight.
• Identify areas for operational improvements using continuous improvement (CI) tools and techniques.
• Engage with business and functional partners to understand priorities, translating these into actionable analytical solutions.
• Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms with a high level of expertise.
• Create intuitive visualizations to empower end-users in their decision-making processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Math: Strong foundation in applied statistics, design of experiments, and various predictive modeling techniques.
• Tech: Proficiency in SQL, Python, Hadoop, Tableau, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication.
