Ibotta is seeking an experienced Decision Scientist, Product Analytics to join our innovative team in Denver, Colorado. Contribute to our mission of Making Every Purchase Rewarding. Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to drive product optimization and growth through extensive analysis, opportunity sizing, measurement, and reporting.

What You Will Be Doing:

As a Decision Scientist, you will:

  • Develop and maintain analyses, reports, and dashboards to track key product metrics.
  • Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests with statistical integrity.
  • Automate workflows to enhance time-to-insight capabilities.
  • Manage analytics requests and projects from start to finish under managerial guidance.
  • Advise on prioritization, roadmap development, and operational objectives with Product Managers.
  • Promote a culture of measurement and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct deep dives on product features, user flows, and journeys.
  • Collaborate with UX Research to generate comprehensive product insights.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and champion Ibotta’s Core Values: Integrity, Boldness, Ownership, Teamwork, Transparency, and Inclusivity.

What We Are Looking For:

Ideal candidates have:

  • 3+ years of experience in a relevant analytical role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or related field.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Databricks, SQL, Python/R, Spark, Hive, Airflow, and Git/GitHub.
  • Familiarity with BI and analytics tools like Looker/LookML, GA, and Amplitude.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.
  • Strong skills in statistical analysis, experimental design, and hypothesis testing.
  • Excellent communication skills for developing data summaries, visualizations, and storytelling methods.
  • Previous experience working with API product teams (preferred).

Additional Details

Base compensation range: $80,000 - $100,000. Equity included in overall compensation package. This range is specific to the U.S. labor market and may vary based on experience.
