The Opportunity

As a Technology Architect or Mainframe Manager in the Cloud Engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering IT projects for clients worldwide.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements and design suitable solutions.
• Provide migration strategies across the 6R – Retain, Retire, Rehost, Rewrite, Replatform.
• Participate in RFP/RFI and pre-sales activities.
• Conduct sessions on mainframe modernization tooling and strategies.
• Mentor junior resources and offer guidance on architecture and performance tuning.
• Perform discovery & assessment and 6R-based application rationalization for legacy applications.
• Lead the development of accelerators.

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Capability to assist in debugging and troubleshooting.
• Experience in designing and developing GenAI-infused DevOps frameworks.

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have

• BE/B.Tech/MCA with 10 to 14 years of industry experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of mainframe modernization tools and strategies.
• Experience in Discovery and assessment of mainframes, preferably using tools like IBM ADDI, MF Enterprise Analyzer, and Cast.
• Proficiency in Zos Connect, Rehosting software like Microfocus, Raincode, etc.
• Strong knowledge of data migration and coexistence for migrated data.
• Experience with CDC and ETL tools is desirable.
• Familiarity with ZD&T, Urban Code Deploy, API Connect is an advantage.
• Expertise in Cobol, DB2, CICS, JCL code development and analysis.
• Extensive experience with VSAM and other file systems.
• Proficiency in using Modern IDEs like IDZ, Topaz, and VsCode for development and debugging.
• Experience with schedulers - CA7, OPC-TWS.
• Hands-on experience with Endevor, Librarian, Changeman.
• Experience with tools like Heirloom and mLogica is a plus.
• Knowledge of stored procedures, SQL tuning, reporting, FTP, emailing services, and data warehousing delivery.
• Development experience in Java, .net, Python is advantageous.
• Cloud certifications and hands-on experience are highly regarded.
• Experience with Broadcom (CA) technologies like CA GEN, CA IDEAL, and CA Datacom will be beneficial.
