Job Summary

The Big Data Developer position at HCSC is focused on the development, integration, testing, and maintenance of new and existing applications. This role requires proficiency in various programming languages, development methodologies, and delivery models.

Required Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree with 2+ years of Information Technology experience OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses with 4+ years Information Technology experience OR 6+ years Information Technology experience.
• Ability to perform computer entry for entire work shift, as required.
• Capability to manage workload, multiple priorities, and potential conflicts with stakeholders.
• Experience in traditional app languages (COBOL, Perl, C+).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (BASH, PERL, PYTHON, RUBY).
• Skilled in application/product feature design.
• Knowledge of integration technologies (Tibco, Informatica, CAS).
• Familiarity with mobile technologies (HP Anywhere, iOS, Android, Java, HTML5).
• Understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA).
• Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, Java, ASP.Net, PHP, Ruby, C#).
• Experience in cloud computing technologies (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS).
• Ability in application configuration and rapid prototyping.
• Familiar with SDLC Methodology (Agile, Scrum, Iterative Development).
• Skills in system performance management, systems change/configuration management, and business requirements management.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and creative thinking skills.
• Ability to execute effectively and travel up to 20%.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
