Job Title: Developer - Power BI

Job Description:

As a Power BI Developer at Sapiens, you will be instrumental in the design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of impactful reports and dashboards using Microsoft Tool stack/Power BI. You'll collaborate with business users to document and develop new reporting capabilities that decisively contribute to our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement advanced data models with Power BI, exploring different modeling designs like Snowflake, Star, and Relational.
• Ensure secure data connectivity and integration for various data sources within the Microsoft Tool stack.
• Lead and mentor a team of developers across multiple projects, optimizing performance and encouraging professional growth.
• Translate complex business requirements into actionable data-driven solutions, ensuring high-quality standards in data reporting and visualization.
• Manage the lifecycle of data solution projects, including system upgrades and performance optimizations.
• Champion data quality, governance, and cleanliness through rigorous processes and training.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Power BI report and dashboard development.
• Expertise in SQL, MDX, DAX for complex queries, performance tuning, and debugging.
• Proven track record in building innovative data models and visualizations within Power BI.
• Experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading technologies (ETL) such as SSIS, Informatica, DataStage, or Talend is preferred.
• Understanding of cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, or GCP, with a strong preference for Azure Stack familiarity.
• Experience with APIs, web services, and Microsoft Power Platform tools is advantageous.
• Strong ability to work independently and effectively in a dynamic, time-sensitive environment.
