What You'll Do

As a Developer, you will be responsible for design, coding, testing, and quality assurance within a dynamic development team. Your main tasks will include:

• Working on design, coding, and quality assurance tasks for specific product features.
• Conducting research and development activities in cloud computing, utilizing technologies such as Go, Python, and Spark, and leveraging a microservices architecture.
• Collaborating with industry experts in our region.
• Gaining knowledge about state-of-the-art cloud deployment technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Learning continuous integration practices in a global development environment.
• Developing distributed applications that operate in cluster mode.
• Working within an agile team that uses the Scrum framework to achieve development goals.
• Participating in a DevOps culture where CI/CD practices are implemented.
• Being part of a globally distributed team that significantly impacts the Enterprise Software industry on a global scale.

What You Bring

If you are analytical, self-motivated, and passionate about problem-solving, with strong time management and task prioritization skills, you could be a great fit for our team. Ideal candidates will also bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree or undergraduate studies in Computer Science, Systems Analysis, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering.
• Up to one year of experience in a related position (new graduates and undergraduates are welcome).
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Programming experience in Golang, Python.
• Some experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Apache Spark.

Meet Your Team

You'll work with the SAP HANA Cloud & Datalake/Big Data Fabric Services team, helping customers access data from anywhere. Our team focuses on:

• Extending and completing SAP Data Platform with Big Data technologies to support various SAP lines of business.
• Leveraging Apache Spark and object store technology for scalable, cost-effective compute and storage services for big data ingestion, processing, and sharing.
• Integrating into SAP BTP and HANA Cloud & Data Lake to offer a unified development and deployment experience for different SAP lines of business.
• Ensuring multi-tenancy and secure data processing.
