We are currently seeking a talented Data Engineer to be an integral part of our dynamic Data Engineering team. This is a permanent opportunity to engage with some of the world's leading airline, hotel, and financial institutions. Your role will directly contribute to our ongoing projects that intertwine complex problem-solving with cutting-edge e-commerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate in a Scrum-based team passionate about fostering a data-centric culture across the organization.
  • Design and develop robust, scalable data pipelines to empower downstream applications, supporting advanced analytics, AI/ML products, and systems interoperability.
  • Continuously refine data processing workflows through automated testing and monitoring to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Engage in solution design and modeling, ensuring adherence to best practices, standards, and architectural principles for exceptional data products.
  • Promote innovation and collaboration to deliver high-caliber, autonomous data solutions.
  • Provide robust support for production systems to ensure optimal data availability, consistency, and accuracy.

Who You Are:

  • Experienced with SQL and NoSQL datasets and well-versed in Snowflake functionalities.
  • Skilled in using ETL tools such as Talend and orchestration tools like Airflow.
  • Proficient in Python, SQL, and Java for data product development, with a strong grasp of real-time analytics and event-driven architecture.
  • Familiar with modern data warehousing, data lakes, and streaming.
  • Knowledgeable in BI development, DevOps principles, and cloud services (particularly AWS).
  • A proactive learner focused on exceeding data and information needs of stakeholders, with effective communication and collaboration skills.

Additional Qualifications (Nice to Have):

  • Deep understanding of software engineering principles and experience with service integration platforms like Dataiku and NetSuite.
  • Hands-on experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau and familiarity with RESTful APIs.
