Position Overview: DevOps Engineer

We are actively seeking DevOps Engineers responsible for enabling agile big-data systems by utilizing a wide array of technical skills.

Responsibilities

As a DevOps Engineer, you will:

• Develop and leverage automation, testing, and analysis tools that meet customer software requirements across varied operating environments.
• Independently complete projects with time-sensitive deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with customer developers, operators, and other supported elements.
• Join smaller teams handling sensitive missions with minimal support.

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python development or another programming language
• Experience with Linux Operating Systems or significant administration and automation skills with another OS
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, or equivalent experience
• Active Top Secret clearance with readiness to undergo Polygraph examination required. #qinetiqclearedjob

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in automated scripting of system administration tasks (e.g., Bash scripting)
• Software Development skills
• Expertise in Software Automation
• Systems Administration experience
• Familiarity with multiple operating systems (Linux, Windows, Mac)
• Knowledge of embedded/IOT, mobile devices (development/testing), and networking
