DevOps Lead Position at State Street

Role Summary & Description

As a DevOps Lead, you will be responsible for maintaining the application environment(s) and infrastructure. This role involves setting up tools and required infrastructure, maintaining code repositories, encouraging and building automated processes, planning and coordinating code deployment, and collaborating with other infrastructure teams.

Core Responsibilities:

• Maintain application environments and infrastructure
• Set up tools and required infrastructure
• Maintain application code repositories
• Encourage and build automated processes wherever possible
• Plan, coordinate, and execute code deployment
• Collaborate with other infrastructure teams

Core/Must-Have Skills

• Strong understanding of Windows/Linux infrastructure
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell
• Thorough knowledge of GitHub and Rational Team Concert
• Experience with Microsoft Technologies/Tools such as IIS and Windows services

Additional Skills

• Basic knowledge of C#
• Familiarity with Cloud infrastructure is an added advantage

Work Schedule

This is a hybrid role, offering a mix of remote and on-site work.
