Role Summary:

As a Diagnostic Imaging Technical Specialist (PRN), you will play a crucial role in our radiology unit. Your expertise will ensure the highest quality of diagnostic imaging, contributing to Inova's reputation for excellence and innovation in healthcare.

Responsibilities Include:

• Expertly applying imaging principles and techniques for optimal examinations
• Obtaining clinical histories from patients to aid in effective examination and diagnosis
• Utilizing and advocating for effective radiation protection procedures
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organized work environment
• Conducting routine quality control testing and equipment maintenance
• Assisting in the development and revision of radiology policies and procedures

Position Requirements:

• Certification: Basic Life Support upon start; ARRT registered as a Radiologic Technologist with advanced certification in applicable modality required within one year
• Licensure: State-required licensure for non-hospital positions
• Experience: Minimum one year as a Radiologic Technologist
• Education: Graduate from an accredited radiography program
