Job Description

NBCUniversal’s Data Operations team is seeking an enthusiastic, goal-driven, and proactive Director of Data Operations and Audience Analytics. You will be integral to supporting innovation within our Ad Platforms and Operations One-Platform group.

About One-Platform:
One-Platform encompasses all NBCU’s data-driven, advanced advertising products, including linear, addressable, OTT, and digital channel advertising products. Your Responsibilities:
• Work with the Senior Director of Advanced Data Operations to incorporate digital and convergent data strategies, ensuring operational efficiency of audience-targeted advertising products.
• Collaborate with internal teams and data vendors to streamline communication and workflow, ensuring successful campaign execution.
• Analyze datasets using programming skills to build target audiences, provide insights and analysis, and support custom data products.
• Partner with the Ad Sales group to guide data operations, develop new workflows, and troubleshoot convergent projects.
• Utilize a variety of analytic tools to identify key metrics, trends, and insights for positioning NBCUniversal ad products.
• Manage vendor relationships, exploring ways to leverage their platforms for data convergence across online and offline channels.
• Provide project management and tracking support to enhance campaign operations, new product implementation, and troubleshooting processes.
• Generate and analyze reports, build dashboards, and support internal teams with data insights.
• Evaluate data vendors’ contributions to campaign fulfillment and data products, ensuring efficient data sourcing.
• Collaborate with Engineering and IT teams to optimize new data products for operational use, documenting use cases, enhancements, and bugs.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in TV and digital media, gaining a thorough understanding of the advertising ecosystem.

Qualifications

Required:
• BA/BS degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in media, digital advertising, technology, or financial services.
• Proficiency in programming languages including SQL, Python, Scala, Databricks, Spark, and/or cleanroom environments.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using visualization tools.
• Knowledge of traditional TV measurement (Nielsen) and digital media math.
• Ability to manage and collaborate with high-performance teams.
• Experience in digital campaign management, analytics and research, ad ops, or TV and addressable advertising.
• Familiarity with DMPs/CDPs and FreeWheel MRM.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to document business requirements, manage timelines, and drive projects to completion.
• Customer service orientation and strong communication skills.
• Self-motivation, entrepreneurial spirit, and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Familiarity with both online and offline data sources.

Desired:
• Familiarity with programmatic operations and cross-channel measurement.
• Understanding of current privacy regulations and practices.
• Knowledge of advanced advertising data integration and measurement.

Salary Range:
$140,000 - $150,000 + annual bonus
